Easy to install, easy to use and looks great!

We bought this Nest thermostat about 3 months ago with the intention of upgrading our older digital thermostat. The old one was cumbersome and difficult to set parameters with, even though it appeared very basic. The Nest was very easy to install (took me less than 20 minutes from start to finish) and set up. The mobile app is very convenient and the Nest is well built.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent product

What I really like about this product is that you can control your HVAC From your smart phone. So, you can control it from any room in the house or even anywhere in the world you have wifi or cellular data. When I’m away from home I know if the power is likely out because the wifi will be down when that occurs which is a pretty good indication that the power is down. Many other great features.

We haven’t had our Nest Thermostat very long yet but so far we really like it , I love the fact that you can control from your phone , it’s very user friendly, I love the look of it and hopefully we will be saving money, I had a technicality savvy young man in my neighborhood do the installation, and it literally took him less than a half an hour too !
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m an HVAC professional.
This stat is easy to install and simple to use. I currently have 3 of them installed in my house and would recommend to anyone with any skill level to use this stat.

Easy setup, quality product and performs well

The system was easy to set up from the start with an intuitive menu that made it easy to get it connected to my home system. I love the features and the way I can program it to sense when I am away and place it in power saving mode. The other nice thing is being able to open up my phone app from bed when it is cold and raise the temp 1 or 2 degrees without having to get out and go downstairs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

UI/UX is Terrible!

Ignore the 5 stars, can't get rid of them. My review is 1 star below the 5 stars. This device is easy to install but after that trying to program it is nearly impossible. They could not have designed a less intuitive interface! Nest user interface is like a jig puzzle. I had to call Google 3 times to get basic things done (3 total hours). Each Rep said they get a lot of calls from customers on the same things. Make the UI intuitive, easy to understand and friendly. Come on, you are Google!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Easy To Use, Even My Mother Can Do It!

It's true. My mother is afraid to touch a loaf of bread for the fear she might cause irreparable damage. But now that I have a Nest Thermostat in the house, she changes the temperature like a beast! No more listening to her whine that it's too cold in the basement -- with a swift flip of her wrist she changes that temp from 68 all the way to a nice balmy 70! All. By. Herself. A+ Highly Recommend
