Why Did I Wait?

Two years ago I purchased two Nest thermostats to install in place of another brand of working smart thermostats. I was dreading the installation, so I put them on a shelf and forgot about them. What a mistake on my part. The installation was a breeze. Between the included instructions, online resources and the Nest unit providing guidance, it was actually fun to install.

Nest Thermostat

We’ve only had our Nest for 3 days and so far we love it! Modern look, interfaces with Amazon xon Alexia and so easy to adjust the thermostat! We’re letting the Nest learn our habits and adjust the thermostat accordingly. Can’t wait to see how it will help reduce our utilities.

Nest thermostat

Love all about it except I can’t manually program the temperature swing- with the nest it varies from 2.2 to 2.5 degrees - so here in arctic country !!! you feel cold then hot. My old LUX 90000b thermostat allowed me to set the temp swing from .9 degrees to 3 degrees - I typically had it set at 1.4 to 1.5 degrees. Google really needs to add this option- otherwise it’s an awesome smart thermostat.

Ease of Use and Slim Design

Happy with the purchase of this thermostat. Like the look, ease of use and the app. We did have a professional install both upstairs and downstairs thermostats, and glad we did have the pro do it. There was a 3rd wire (?) that needed to be hooked up. These are not noisy thermostats (we do not hear the 'clicking' on and off). Have not received electric bill yet, so do not know of any saving$$.
