Day three with Nest thermostat - so far so good

Got a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation a few days ago. The installation instructions were easy to follow, so mounting and wiring the thermostat was relatively quick. The guided setup I had it up and running in less than an hour. Also installed the Nest app on my phone. So far, very happy with this thermostat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did some research before buying the product and decided it was worth the money. The thermostat will pay for its self in time and the energy savings is more money back in your pocket!!

If you have been thinking about getting a Nest thermostat - do it. I had a perfectly functioning programmable thermostat but got a substantial credit towards a Nest purchase through Verizon and am so glad I did. The Nest was easy to install, set up and use, displays inside temp. and outside weather and looks great! Definitely worthwhile, even if you have to pay full freight.

Zoned Set Up

It took some research to figure out if Nest thermostats were compatible with our home/system. We have a ranch with a fully finished basement that is zoned for upstairs and downstairs heating and cooling with just one furnace and one AC (3400 sq ft total). Installing the Nests took about an hour total for the two. Comparing the past month to a similar one last year, we've already saved about $10.

The visual appeal and feel are top notch. I did have an issue with the software making the thermostat not connect to WiFi. This happened about 6mo into use and techsupport had a new unit to me with 3 days. The reinstatement was extremely easy. They entire suite of nest home products are great and it’s even better having everything controlled from 1 app.
I would recommend this to a friend!
