So cool

We really like our Nest thermostat. We've had it for about a month. We used the learning feature and it worked perfectly for us. We made some very minor adjustments to the temps but for the most part it learned our habits spot on. I like being able to pull up the app while I'm in bed in the middle of the night to adjust temps if needed all without having to get out of bed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problems galore

For some reason, my AC isn't working on the Nest even though we followed all the directions to the letter. It's good for heat, but I'm concerned about summertime. I have a newborn at home and will have to have someone come look at it probably. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple to setup with very detailed/colorful hard copy booklet as well as online videos. Looks great with multiple finish options and very easy to use. The learning mode and schedule is the best internal feature of the device. I get excited when it lights up with the outside temperature every time I walk by it and it makes me feel good about having it installed on my wall!
I would recommend this to a friend!

No need to go any further than to say that so far, the Nest Learning Thermostat is the coolest, highest functioning thermostat it's kind. It's been a fantastic addition to our home

Fantastic Thermostat

I am not a handy person at all. I usually need to get people to fix everything for me. When we first got the Nest the plan was a friend was going to install it, but my existing thermostat decided to stop working on me. So I had no choice but to try to do this myself. First thing I noticed everything comes with the Nest. You don’t have to hunt down screws or screwdrivers or anything. Everything is right in the box. The directions are very easy to follow and within about 30 minutes I had the Nest up and running and within about 10 min after that I had it fully connect to the wifi as well as my cell phone. I love the fact that you can monitor the temperature from anywhere. You can even have it set up so that it knows when you left the house and it will reduce the heat to an eco level. This is the best thermostat that I have ever seen and used.

A very solid feeling thermostat.

I got this to replace another brand of WiFi thermostat, It feels much more solid and secure, it doesn't drop the WiFi like the old one.
The only quibble is the way the setup keyboard changes from upper to lower case. That should be explained in the product materials.
