Best Thermostat - Easy to set up and use

The ability to install it yourself and be ready to use this product, in an hour or less, is impressive. Once you know your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat you are good to go!

Not made to last

Old one lasted 2 years a 1 month (on a 2 uear warranty) before it stopped working. The support told me they couldnt repair it, and of course it was 1 month past warranty so wanted me to go out and buy a new one. Had an Ecobee for 3 years prior to this with no issue. Should have stayed with the Ecobee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy walk through setup. If you are from the south and have a Heat Pump. Be sure to check the O/B (Orange/Blue) wire setup in the Nest Thermostat. If you are blowing hot air change the setting to B rather than O. Other than that easy peasy.

New Nest User

My Nest was installed yesterday and I love it. I shy away from installing anything that has electrical wires, so I contacted a professional installer from a list provided by Nest. The installer was courteous and efficient. He reviewed Nest’s features with me and I read the material provided by Nest. Then I familiarized myself with all of the settings by pushing and turning the Nest ring. I like walking past the thermostat and seeing it light up to display the current outside temperature and the days forecast. I’m looking forward to being very cozy with Nest.
