Don’t like the fact that I have to give it access to my entire google account .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the Best Thermostats Out There

I could not believe the ease of use and the ease of installation for this product. Once it was installed, you could set all types of program. You can set it so that the AC does not cool the house below a set temperature, this way you are not wasting energy. I love the monthly report I receive to indicate how long the AC ran. I love the Air Filter reminder it provides when it is time to replace

Hook it up, turn it on, sign in, test the system..... and you’re steady to go! This device can’t get much simpler to use and saves you money on your energy bill! Definitely worth the investment.

Simple and sleek

I was really looking forward to this product. I was a bit anxious about setting this up myself (I’m usually the type of person who pays whatever fee necessary to get a professional to do my setups) however in about 45mins I had my Nest up and running. Love being able to control from my app!

Great thermostat. Easy to use and saves you money. It will lower the temperature when you go to bed in the evening. And raise it when you get home.
I love the fact that you can adjust the temperature from the app on your phone. Best feature of this product.

Remarkable company

This is the second home in which I’ve installed Nest products. After replacing ten year old hard-wired smoke/CM detectors I decided I would make the house seamless and buy more thermostats. I find them easy to set up and install and find the remote/away features perfect as we live in two states.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid built thermostat

I spent some time looking at thermostats when the HVAC guy said my old programable one wasn't working correctly. I was between the Ecobee 4 and the Nest 3. After looking at the Ecobee and the plastic looking build the reviews showed it may have more in-depth features, it's more difficult to program and use. I wanted something clean, simple, solid, reliable and stylish so I went with the Nest 3.
