Nest thermostat is way cool!

Have two of these in our house. Easy to setup, like that it knows when we come home. Looks and works great!!!

Having this new thermostat has lowered my power bill. Even when I forget to adjust the temperature before I leave home, my Best does it for me. I live that I can control it with Alexa voice commands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t care for them

Sorry - it’s probably my age - but I don’t care for the Nest. There was nothing wrong with setting a thermostat to what you wanted it on

Prior to purchase, we had some apprehension about the product - maybe it would be too high-tech for us? We were wrong! Not only did installation go smoothly, but day to day operations and use of the app are super user-friendly! We plan to add more Nest products to our home!

Works exactly as advertised

I had a brief bit of trouble with the set up and wiring, but support was phenomenal and walked me through it no problem. They were very nice and helpful. Now everything is working great and my family loves it.

Jumps temperatures

Jumps temperature settings willy-nilly. I just started using the product and need to figure out it's logic.

Hi Manoj, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues with your Nest Learning Thermostat.
Nest Learning thermostat is designed to learn your preferred temperatures at certain times of the day. It has a setting called “Auto-Schedule” that creates schedules for you once it learns your routine. You can turn off this feature so your thermostat will work like a traditional non-programmable thermostat and it will stay on whatever temperature you set it to (like “hold” mode) until you select a new temperature.
Please follow the steps below:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings, and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings, and then Nest Sense, and then Auto-Schedule, and then Off.
Once you turn it off, we suggest clearing all the schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, and then Schedule to ensure your thermostat won't kick in based on the logged schedules.
