Terrible directions

The directions are completely worthless, and there is virtually no support at all. If the setup doesn't exactly match your old thermostat, you are on your own or forced to hire a professional. Every other competing product offers comprehensive directions, and/or customer support. If there was something below 1 star, I would choose that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Thermostat

Great little gadget. Has been so nice for the winter. I have been able to monitor and control the heat in my condo while traveling on vacation. I set the heater to turn on before we came back so it was nice and warm. Really is a neat thermostat, very happy with the purchase. For Christmas I bought a NEST smart Lock as well. Nest has quality products.

Intuitive, easy to use, and looks good.

The Nest Learning Thermostat looks good on the wall, is incredibly easy to use both physically and through the app. Its learning capabilities work better than expected. It's still too early to tell how much money it saves over my old basic programmable thermostat but I'm still glad I made the upgrade just for the features alone.

Excellent product. Should have bought sooner. Looks great in our hallway and was very easy to install and setup. I do recommend taking a photo of old thermostat wiring before removing.
