I have a neck injury and have always used a contoured neck pillow. When I couldn't get the same one I had, I thought a tempurpedic would be the best option. It was horrible. It hurt my neck horribly, and is unusable. It didn't hold it's shape to support by neck.
Cons: Too Hard

Before I purchased the neck pillow I was having trouble every night with my arms usually one or the other going completely numb. Now after using this pillow I have not experienced any numbness and have great support with my neck and definitely a betters night sleep.

Terrible, sharp smell and too hard. Left in dryer on no-neat tumble for 2 days and in direct sun for 2 more days with no improvement. After 1 week, finally tried it and the overwhelming stench and over-firmness gave me a headache and neck pain. I have several such pillows purchased a few years ago, and they were excellent. What happened? Even 1-star too generous, but that is the low-end of the scale.
Cons: Acrid Stench, Too Hard

I bought this pillow to help support my neck at night due to neck pain. It really helps. At first the pillow is a little hard and made my head hurt but within the first week I got used to it and my head didn't hurt like first night. Just give it yourself some time to adjust.

very very comfortable, but still smells like fresh paint

for me, absolutely amazingly comfortable to sleep on, but I worry about the fresh paint smell, now six weeks out. If you roll over onto your stomach, with your face near the pillow, it is a very noticeable smell. You have to wonder, what is the smell? Is it dangerous? Even if it is not dangerous, why should my pillow smell like paint? It should either have no smell at all, or smell like bed linens, not paint.

Cons: still smells like fresh paint (six weeks out), the paint smell, is it dangerous? Big worry
