Best pillow for the neck, the small is perfect, no neck pain with this one. Replacing original from bed purchase and getting the wife one. Lasts a very long time.

We were excited to get our new Tempur-pedic pillows and used them right away, but the first night, I thought I smelled mildew in a big way. I tried again the next night (switching my husband's pillow for mine - shhh, don't tell him), but it still smelled. I called Tempurpedic, and they said, "Give it a week; the smell should be gone by then." We did. It wasn't gone. It wasn't mildew, but it was chemicals from whatever they make the foam out of. Needless to say, we returned the pillows and are now back to our old, mushy ones. I so wanted to love the pillows. They felt great, but we couldn't stand the smell.

Out of the box the pillow had a very strong smell, overpowering and unpleasant. After 2 months the smell had decreased but is not gone. The pillow supports as it should, but I find that I have to reposition during the night to party of the pillow that is not compressed. I wish that I could order a queen or king-sized. The standard size is too small, I roll over and I'm off the pillow.

The firmness of these neck pillows are not what they used to be. The lack of support means I can't comfortably sleep on my side anymore, only my back, and at some point my shoulders/arm falls asleep when that never happened with previous versions of this pillow. My seven year old can use this pillow without me worrying it is too firm/high. Glad he can use it but I purchased it to give me firm neck support, not soft sinking neck support.

They could be thicker, I find myself having to use a flat pillow to give this one some hight. Maybe I need to buy the large instead of the medium. But still will keep the pillows.
