Too Hard

I had this same model for years and it was great. The newer version though is way too hard. They must have changed the material. After having it for months it still never softened. I wake up with neck discomfort.

It took a little while to adjust but since I started using it my sleep has gotten significantly better. I have spine problems resulting in a very stiff neck. Since using this pillow my neck stiffness has at least been cut in half, if not more. I would highly recommend it.

My husband & I purchased our very first Tempurpedic pillows 20 years ago. After my husband tried a number of different pillows from other manufacturers, we decided to go back and get 2 new Tempurpedic pillows for each of us, these 2 large neck pillows. After the first night, I thought it might be that the large was just too tall for me but my husband's was too hard - not really contouring to him according to his shape/weight or not really being memory foam as our original ones used to be. Thought maybe it was just too high for him as well so we ordered a pair of mediums that very next day. Sad to say, the issue was indeed the foam not being as contouring as the original ones, and we're just very disappointed with the quality of the memory foam Tempurpedic is making/selling now. We also had a Tempurpedic mattress 18 years ago but we're definitely not going to get another one from Tempurpedic due to these experiences. In a matter of 2-3 weeks, 4 unusable pillows & a week of neck pain later, no more Tempurpedic for us.

I had an old Tempur neck pillow, that was much softer and a few inches longer - I guess Tempur changed their formula for this pillow because the feel of it was completely different then my old one and the length was shorter. I found this new pillow uncomfortable.
