Way too hard

This is the worst pillow I have ever had. I slept on it once and got an extreme headache from how hard it was. And now I can't return it because there is only a 90 trial on mattresses and not pillows. Terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went from daily morning painful headaches to feeling absolutely perfect every morning, ALL because of this pillow!!!!! The headaches lingered into the afternoon & so I was miserable. For years. Now I am the happiest person I know!!! I am not exaggerating, this pillow 100% changed my life!!!!!

Excellent for neck pain, but yes a little hard

First off, yes this pillow is harder than your average pillow, but it states it is medium firm. I can tell it is also softening with more use as tempurpedic does. It can take up to 3 weeks for it to soften up. It is amazing for my neck! I have been sleeping soooo good and i have no more neck pain at all! It's amazing. I think i did get too small of one (i went with small because i was worried a medium would be too big) but honestly i just put a thin pillow under it and that worked great and it sits at the perfect height now. Despite being a harder, more firm pillow, it is absolutely perfect for what i bought it for - which was neck pain. This is not an average pillow, and it's not meant to be. It's truly great for helping with neck pain

Best neck support

I am primarily a back sleeper but I do turn to my side every now and then. I've used the Tempur pedic neck pillow over two decades ago. I just recently purchased a new neck pillow to replace my old one, and I couldn't be happier! Even though I measure to be a small and my husband measure to be a medium height pillow, we decided to go higher so I got the medium height and he got the largest height. We are both glad we did. I tend to get terrible headaches whenever my neck is not properly supported while I sleep. It could be because I have more of an arch on the back of my neck, so I really favor the neck support. When I position myself to sleep, my shoulders rest right under the base of pillow where the neck hump is, and the arch of my neck rests on the hump. My head is cradled where the pillow dips down. I really like this position. Pillows that do not offer the contour shape tend to push my head forward and do not offer any support to my neck, causing me great tension and pain by morning. But the Tempur pedic neck pillow has been such a blessing to my sleep, support, and comfort! Anytime my husband and I travel and sleep at hotels or airbnbs, we always bring our neck pillows to ensure we get the best sleep. When it comes time to replace my pillows again, I will definitely get another neck pillow from Temper pedic.

Hard as a rock and badly shaped

I am very disappointed. I have scoliosis and used to have a pillow just like this that fit perfectly in the shape of my neck and helped me sleep. I lost it and bought this one only to find it's hard as a rock (so uncomfortable), hurts my back even more than it already does and also doesn't fit my neck so it's just awkward in general. The measurements didn't help get the right size. I tried it for a few nights hoping I'd get used to it and it's just bad. Very disappointed in this purchase and the fact that it's not returnable.

Life Changing

My neck was in such bad shape I was having trouble turning my head. Two nights sleeping on this, I'm back to normal. Any regular soreness I experience goes away when I lie down on this.

supportive pillow

I've had a tempurpedic pillow for more than 20 years. Finally replaced it. It's just as supportive as ever. I'm a side sleeper and I need something firm that will support my neck all night. My only complaint is that the pillow depth has been shortened and now my curly hair hits the headboard. Trying to find a solution for that.

I purchased the TEMPUR-Neck Pillow. It actually said "Large" when I ordered it, but, when I opened it, it was the size you would use in a child's bed. It looks absolutely ridiculous in my king-size bed. I found out there are actually no other sizes of this pillow and no options for refunds or exchanges for pillows. I paid so much for it, I have no choice but to use it. I do like the way it feels on my neck though, which is why it gets 2 stars.
