Hard as a rock.

I did everything I was told to 'Open up the pillow' nothing makes it not a rock. Not sure what changed but clearly they messed something up with the changes. Really sucks because these aren't cheap pillows at all.

The first night I used this, I thought i had WAY overpaid for a sub par pillow. And I HATED that it wasn't the fluffy, luxurious feather pillows I loved earlier in my adulthood. But I stuck with it because I had had neck pain for almost a year and didn't have any other solutions. So I kept using it, and I'm so glad I did. My neck pain has all but disappeared. It doesn't look or feel fancy; it just feels dense. But I have come to love how stretched out my neck and shoulders feel when I wake up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this Pillow

Since using this pillow, it has relieved any neck pain I had before. Also It lets me sleep all through the night. The only thing is, a standard pillow case is too large for the "small neck pillow". So, I took a king size pillow case and cut it down to size and made a perfect size pillow case for it, with fabric left over to make a case for my tempur-pedic roll pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had neck pain for about 6 months prior to purchasing this pillow. Figured it was arthritis. Thought hard about seeing my doctor about it. Purchased the pillow. And it wasn't an overnight fix but in a couple weeks my neck pain diminished. Now it is 90% gone. I'm figuring the last 10% will vanish soon. I love it!!! Takes a really short time to get used to it. Great purchase!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried at least 10 different pillows, soft, firm, extra firm, different brands/shapes etc. and I continued to have neck and shoulder pain. Finally, ordered this pillow and slept better than I have in over a year. The support is excellent and the shape is perfect. I'm going to order another one.

Something is different with this pillow than my previous model. I purchased the medium and the dip in the pillow where your head is supposed to rest is so uncomfortable that I can't use the pillow. Waste of money snd very dissatisfied.

Disappointed with this extra hard pillow

Purchased the Tempur-Neck Pillow Medium. I like the contour and medium is the right size for my 5'10" frame. However, this thing is harder than a brick. Not a restful sleep, waking up with a sore ear and sore teeth. Tried to soften the pillow by stepping on it and sitting on it throughout the day but it didn't help. Really loved my old Tempur-pedic SidePillow Medium. It was perfect but now it's is gone and the SidePillow is no longer available for purchase. I understand the no returns policy but when the product is this bad it should be considered a crime. This loyal customer of 25 years will be seeking a solution somewhere else.

Causes extreme ear pain, and more frequent headaches.

I have neck and back problems and ordered this pillow to help with these issues. The pillow was rated for back and slide sleepers (I am a side sleeper) and made my ears hurt when I slept on my sides. The pillow also caused me to have more frequent headaches than my previous pillow. I did try to sleep on my back a number of times to give this pillow a fighting chance of living up to the hype, but I just could never get comfortable enough to stay asleep on my back. I would wake up on my side with my ear in excruciating pain. My stupidity that I did not read the return policy before purchasing.
