[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many pillows over the years and none were ever exactly what I needed. The Tempur-Neck Pillow suits my needs exactly. It is firm (actually firm, not just stated firm). It has two depths, which I can use for reading and sleeping.

Not like the old side-sleeper pillow

This pillow is too hard. The medium is too high and the hump is too wide for sleeping on my back. On my side, it is unforgiving, even aggravating my jaw. I loved the old side-sleeper pillow (the one with the cut-out for the neck), but this is a far cry from that. I even ordered a small to see if it was better. Nope.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over the years I lost one to a family member (long story) and the other one on vacation. I decided to buy a new one. I immediately noticed its a lot stiffer than I remember. I though I needed to break into it.... but then I woke up with neck pain... I don't understand why it's not as comfortable as the ones I used to have.

Much harder than my old Tempur side-sleeper pillow

I couldn't get or stay comfortable with this pillow. The hump is too big for my neck on my back, and too unforgiving on my side. Even my jaw protested. I used to love the old style pillow (with the divot for the neck). This one is not for me. I even ordered a small to see if that would be better but it was too low for my shoulder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are suffering from neck pain I would strongly recommend this pillow. My neck pain was gone after a day using TEMPUR-Neck Pillow. I was suffering from neck pain for weeks and was looking for a standard pillow to help me sleep at least an hour. Not only my neck pain was gone but also I have deeper sleep after I started using the pillow.
