[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this sand for a couple of different things. I own a small above ground pool and have a sand filter. Would never go back to a cartridge filter. The sand keeps the water so much cleaner looking. I also am an aquarist. I use lots of this sand as aquarium substrate. It's much less expensive than anything marketed toward the hobby. It's clean and requires very little washing. It's a fine sand that looks very nice in the tank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Palmetto Filter Sand for Residential and Commercial Pool Sand Filters works great. It is very bright and high grade sand. It fits perfectly in the filter to clean the pool. My pool is so much clearer using this sand.

It is a quality filter sand, was easy to pour into filter. It did not cause and cloudiness in my pool water, my water was clean and sparkling. I love that the sand is natural with no chemicals added to it. I was able to backwash and rinse with no clogging or sand coming out. My dogs swims in the pool and it filters out the dog hair also. So I would highly recommend a top quality pool filter sand.
