Beautiful, Tall and Stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first impression was that the Barbie Deluxe Style Fashion Doll #12 is one of the most beautiful dolls out of the entire line. Our daughter loves that she is tall! She does not have a lot of tall female dolls, but was absolutely elated to add this one to the collection. Another point that was made pertains to the clothing. The flare pants have been a tremendous hit (there is some unexpected fascination with fashions that are 1970s related)! The whole outfit, including the bracelet, choker, and purse, is favored for actually matching and being stylish. As a lot of the accessories tend to be placed to the side rather soon, the fact that these have been kept close by is certainly telling. The exaggerated size of the heart on the crop top is considered to be one of the most inviting aspects of the outfit, with the earrings matching the color of the heart. We believe that our daughter has really taken to this doll, because the doll looks a lot like her (considering that she is tall just like her dad) and is super excited to have a mini replication! The hair is extremely soft and easy to style. Even though there was initial disappointment that the hair was not styled similarly as the pictures, the particular thought seems to have vanished rather quickly. The doll has been assigned our daughter’s name as well, so this is another indication of her fascination with #12. While the overall durability of the doll seems solid, it is expected to be lasting (just like the other dolls in this specific line). Thank you, Mattel, for the overall representation of the dolls to make young girls feel that they are not invisible and are able to reach any goals they set! Please keep up the stellar work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deluxe Style is one of the best fashion lines out there for Barbie currently, and this doll is no exception! She is absolutely adorable and charming. I really appreciate the articulation, she is more versatile in how you can pose her. You don’t notice how cute her pair of boots are until you actually take time to look too. I love the bell bottoms, it is very flattering for a tall doll body type like her. Her pink eyeshadow is dreamy and her hair is silky soft saran. She has so many cute details and it is hard not to love her!

Pretty doll, accessories could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has really enjoyed playing with this doll. She thinks the doll is very pretty and the pink/heart/rose theme is right up her alley. She hasn't even wanted to change her outfit because she likes it so much.
My daughter prefers dolls with moveable arms like this. She loves being able to pose the doll, and have her hold things easily.
The accessories that came with this doll are cute, but my daughter only likes and uses the purse. The small bracelet was lost almost immediately as it was lose and didn't easily stay on. The doll also came with a plastic rose choker, but it would always slide backwards so my daughter just keeps it off.
Overall this is a fun doll and one my daughter keeps wanting to play with.

An Adorably Pink Barbie with Modern Style

She has such a pretty, modern look and definitely stands out compared to a lot of standard Barbies. Her long brown hair styled in soft waves with half-up pigtails gives her a fun, stylish vibe right out of the box.
Her face is especially well done. The makeup is soft but polished, with nicely shaped brows, shimmery eyes, and a pink lip that works perfectly with the outfit. She feels current without looking overdone.
The outfit is adorable and very cohesive. The light pink cropped top with the gold heart detail pairs beautifully with the matching flared pants. The fabric has a bit of texture, which makes it feel more fashion-forward than basic playline clothing, and the flared legs really elevate the whole look.
The accessories are a big plus. The gold hoop earrings, pink choker, bracelets, and rose-shaped purse all coordinate nicely and add just the right amount of glam without feeling excessive. Everything works together, which I really appreciate.
She has good articulation for posing and looks great on display, especially next to the other dolls in the Deluxe Style line. While the clothing isn’t high-end collector quality, it’s definitely nice for the price and holds its shape well.
Overall, this is a really stylish Barbie that feels thoughtfully designed. She’s great for display, play, or collecting, and she easily ranks as one of the prettier dolls in this line. If you’re a fan of pink, modern fashion, she’s a lovely addition.
