Love this Barbie and its features

Gorgeous Posable Doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually a very pretty doll that is also very posable! My granddaughter usually isn't a fan of most Barbie dolls other than the Dream Besties, so I was surprised at how much she enjoyed playing with this doll. Her issue with many of the modern Barbie dolls is the straight legs that don't bend like other fashion dolls. It's very difficult for these rigid dolls to sit in the cars or on any furniture without their legs sticking straight out. This doll has jointed elbows and knees that allowed my granddaughter to pose her in many different ways. As you see in the pics, we had so much fun posing her on the kitchen counter. There are many outtakes from this photo shoot of this doll in very ridiculous poses courtesy of my granddaughter, so it is very fun to play with.
This doll has other positive attributes beyond her flexibility, as her hair is absolutely gorgeous! She has soft beautiful curls and the texture of her hair is exceptional. My granddaughter had me brushing out some of her other dolls hair over the holidays and many were tangled beyond mere brushing and needed much more care. This doll has a hair texture that I don't see tangling or frizzing up as much as the others, and I see her hair enduring my granddaughters rough play without too much damage. The printing on her eyes isn't the best and is the worst flaw I see with this doll. This poor printing is really noticeable in photos. Her pink lips are glittery and fit her coloring perfectly. This doll's outfit is really cute too, and I like that it is two separate pieces so that it can be mixed and matched with other pieces. My granddaughter loves redressing her dolls so this outfit is a plus. The accessories this doll came with are equally as adorable, with the pink flower purse and matching flower choker necklace both being standouts. The purse is one solid piece of plastic and would be much more fun if it opened so little accessories could be stored inside.
The hoop earrings are a cute addition, but they do tend to get tangled up in the doll's hair and I expect them to get bent and mangled over time from constant detangling. I tried removing them but they don't appear to be removable. I think having removable earrings would be better, especially if giving the doll to a child. It would avoid the frustration of them becoming tangled with hair, and I think adult doll collectors would also appreciate the ability to switch out earrings. Her pink lace up boots are also cute. I do wish these boots had more detail instead of being all one color, like white laces on the boots, or the soles being a different color. Getting this doll out of the packaging wasn't the herculean effort is usually is, which was a pleasant surprise as well. I usually have to pull out an arsenal of tools just to get the multiple tabs out of the head without ripping out clumps of hair. There were only two this time, which is an improvement. All in all, this is a striking doll that is incredibly posable, with an adorable outfit and accessories!

Perfect for 7-year-old

Flare of Fashion...literally

She has good hopped earrings, bracelet, and pink makeup. Her outfit is the definition of style. Her pink, spaghetti strap, belted crop top has a gold painted faux belt buckle match her pink, laced up, high heel boots. Her high waisted, ultra flared, pink rose printed pants compliment all the rose themed accessories like her pink rose choker and rose hand bag. Cute barbie to dress up or dress down!

Deluxe Barbie Style For Pink Lovers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Deluxe Style Barbie is exactly what it says it is! Deluxe style! From head to toe this doll is so fashionable and pretty, and all in pink! Her cute hairstyle is done with lovely curls with some of it pulled back using pink rubber bands. For accessories, she has silver hoop earrings, a pink rose choker necklace, gold bangle bracelet, and a pink rose handbag. The pink crop top has a fun gold heart-shaped buckle, and matching pink flare jeans with a pattern of roses outlined in white. This is a great doll for play or collecting. For kids, I wouldn't recommend for young ones because of all the small pieces that could be swallowed. For collectors, she'd look great on a shelf or kept in the beautiful box that complements the doll so well. This doll was given as a gift and was very well received and loved immediately, and would make a perfect gift for any occasion for the Barbie lover in your life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really liked this Barbie for the simple fact that it had extra points of articulation in the arms and legs. This made playtime more fun because different poses were achievable. As parents we appreciated that her earrings are attached and less likely to be lost. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was her necklace. Once you put it on and begin to play, it had a tendency to want to turn around 180° showing the opening rather than the flower. Very minor issue because overall she had a lot of fun with this Barbie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Played w/ doll indoor @ home. Lovely doll. Would be better if fully articulated & removable earring. Curls fall apart in box. Hair is frizzy. Love the lip color. However, it is more of a purple than pink & doesn’t really match. Cute boots easy to take off/put on. Cute matching rose purse easy to put on wrist & rose choker easy to put on/take off. Outfit is wonderful. Love the matching rose theme!!
