A timeless album, an amazing talent

I cannot begin to tell you how this album has ever so delicately settled into my life. Each song holds its own charm and charisma such that I could not skip even a second of any track. While I have been a fan of Yasmin Williams for a few years now and have greatly enjoyed her other albums (Unwind) and singles (two of which you'll find in Urban Driftwood), I feel this album shows her growth as a composer. Her album Unwind is more upbeat and faster paced, while Urban Driftwood feels a bit more contemplative. Please do not mistake that observation as it being long and slow, it has it's fervent moments, but it also invites you to sit, rest, and reflect (something I certainly take the time to do as the album is the musical inspiration for a novel I'm writing). Urban Driftwood is the most played of all my records. I do not see that changing anytime soon.
