First crossbow

This is my first crossbow, so I can’t compare it to anything else. After a short learning period, I’m very comfortable with operating it safely, and was able to get everything dialed in with a couple of shooting sessions. Now hitting within an inch of center at 50 yards. I picked TenPoint specifically for the excellent decock mechanism, the competition I tried made me really nervous to decock.

Tenpoint gets an A+ on the Turbo-X. FANTASTIC Bow!

I started shooting crossbows in 2010. I had never owned anything but Excalibur's until I decided to pull the trigger on the new Turbo-X. I am glad that I did. The Turbo-X was shooting 424 FPS right out of the box. Granted, that has dropped with heavier arrows and Swhacker 150 gr broadheads, but it is still much faster than my fastest Excalibur. The Turbo is light, narrow, and easy to maneuver in and out of the woods. I climbed up into my stand a few times and it appears it will suit me well in the hunting season. I did not like or care for the supplied Tenpoint Rangemaster scope, so I put a Huskemaw on top and it suits me nicely. I really like the crank, being able to stop at any point in the cranking process and not having to worry about the crank 'slapping you' is a definite plus. I especially like the automatic safety engagement once the string is captured. The anti-dry fire feature which makes it impossible to do a dry fire is a great as well. After putting around 75-100 shots on it, the Turbo-X has been promoted to my #1 crossbow for the upcoming hunt season with the Excalibur being a back-up. Anyone who wants a high-quality crossbow from a fantastic company with a great warranty should definitely look at the Turbo-X. For the money, I believe it may be the best deal out there. AAA+++ to Tenpoint!

Overall this is one of the best hunting weapons I own. I don’t normally write reviews but practicing and hunting with my Ten Point Turbo has broadened my archery effective range by 100%.

Super accurate best Crossbow ever

I cannot believe how well the unit shoots. It cocks in uncocked so easy. I can’t even believe it. It’s such a joy to shoot. They’ve made such improvements on these cross posts. It’s unbelievable. It’s 71 years of age that made going out in the fall archery season fun again.
