Sleek, modern and quality power hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hub works better than expected for connecting all of your devices! I used it as a docking station for connecting my surface pro 7 to a monitor. USB-C is a must. I love the 4k feature, and the build quality shines through. It’s connected my devices immediately and every time. This hub is incredibly functional with 7 different connection types. It’s modern, and is a huge upgrade from my eyesore SS one.

Connect multi devices in one hub.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy to finally have a trustworthy solution to my connectivity issues. I create content for multiple social media platforms. I was constantly plugging and unplugging devices. Belkin came to the rescue with this multi port hub. It is extremely quiet with very fast data transfer. The unit is very compact. It fits on my desk without taking up a lot of space. The connections are strong, durable and stable.

Very useful product!

It turns one port into everything I need: monitor, USB accessories, keyboard and mouse, all while keeping my laptop charged. My desk feels less cluttered and setup is so much easier. Definitely a must-have for a WFH setup.

Good for travel or basic use, not the best for cer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item feels well constructed and is a good weight, I believe it will hold up to regular use. It has a good number of functionalities and ports and would be good for traveling as well as home/office use. The ports are not loose and plugs are held securely in place. The charging function works well. We were able to successfully achieve the advertised full 4K/60HZ during testing.
This might vary from user to user, but I think this product would be better if the HDMI and power input ports were on the "back" side and the SD card slots were on the "front" (essentially flipping those port locations with each other). If you have the main ports facing you, you need a longer HDMI cord or the hub will be pulled to an upright angle (rendering the SD slots unusable) when using this port. Switching these locations would also make it easier to identify which USB-C port is optimized for power, and make inserting SD cards correctly easier to do. The SD card slots also require you to insert memory cards logo side down if the other ports are in their standard orientation, which is not the common direction for an SD card slot and is not what the photos on the web page for this product indicate.
The biggest issue we had during testing is that we could not achieve even close to advertised transfer speeds (see attached photo of a screen shot of an SD card transfer speed test). We attempted multiple tests both with and without the hub being plugged in to an external power source, and at no point did the transfer rate reach the advertised speeds. Transfer speeds were a maximum of around 1/5 of the advertised rate.
I would note that my boyfriend who helped with testing and is a professional photographer said that he would lower the rating to 3 stars due to the transfer speeds and the inconvenience of the HDMI port location and SD card slot orientation.
I personally would rate this at 3.5 star, but am rounding up to 4 stars since the port locations could be more personal preference than an actual issue, and the advertised transfer speeds are noted as "up to" vs guaranteed or minimum.

While I would recommend this hub for someone looking for this mix of functionalities, or who needs a number of ports in one device, I would note that this product might not be the best choice if transfer speeds are a high priority. I would also note that other products in the line might have a better layout of ports depending on the layout of your desk or devices you would be plugging in. My boyfriend says he would recommend this for travel but not for professional use (in a photo/video line of work).
