Very nice!

Once you have it plugged in and connected to its app(it does take a bit to connect to its app but as long as you follow the instructions you should be fine), the color options are endless. Being able to connect to Alexa or Google assistant is a great added bonus since you can request by voice to turn on the light strip or change the color. Overall I really like this light strip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I happen to own a Monster voice activated multi-color USB LED light strip as well as one that is a static remote-control operated LED strip. I like how the app has iterated from not requiring a remote to being smartphone controlled, but personally I think I like remote controls better. Here's why: first, while the app has an abundance of features, I cannot tell how to replicate the basics (e.g. the strobe/fade features I just have recycling all the colors). Second, the app itself is restricted in a way that you can tell it was made from a Chinese company (it feels very similar to my smart plugs). I couldn't figure out how to easily get my phone which is connected to my 5Ghz network to downgrade to 2.4Ghz so I had to set up the device using the alternate option which was to manually pair it. Fortunately, that worked. Third, the voice activation is really really cool - it dances along to the music or your voice - but you need to keep the app open on that very screen for that to work (and if your device powers off for power consumption, you're out of luck). I would love for it to have a background option to let me do other things while giving me this functionality. Another thing that I would really like of these devices in general - is a blacklight LED color. Why is it that these LED companies haven't considered blacklights? They're the coolest! Nonetheless, this is a pretty nice product. I'm a fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to install on my tv and it looks great. I prefer to use the phone app instead of the remote control but both of them work well. My only complaint is that I can’t get this sync up with my tv where it turns on and off with the tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lot of fun in my daughter's room. I did have to place it in a different spot than I originally wanted to. When I was planning, I didn't take plugging it in into account. But I found a fun place for it where it can plug in. I like changing the colors on it when she isn't expecting it. I hear "oooohhhh" coming from her room when I do.

Great lights

These Monster LED lights that you can control with the app and your voice are great. All his friends think they are cool, and so do I but I would never date to tell them that! Easy to use and do what they are ment to do!

Fun and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to add a little more light in my work area, but my kids think I bought it for them to play with. It does work to illuminate the darker area of my "office", but I guess still not quite what I am looking for. My kids have taken control of it and they have it in their game room. They love the remote and being able to change the color with the remote depending on what mood they are in. I am actually thinking about getting another one and letting them connect it to Alexa.

I had my boyfriend set it up for me, and it was super easy. I love how I can change the colors to suit my mood and my decor in my living room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Monster LED strip was so easy for my teen son to set up around his gaming computer and it looks great! My son had the light strip attached and on in less than 30 minutes. He loves the different colors and the app he can use to control the various light settings. His computer area now looks more like a professional gaming set-up. Definitely recommend Monster LED lights!
