Poor quality or just poor QC?

I just got this and am so disapointed. The bowl is so cheaply made you can see the screws from the handle poking through, and the coating on the tools came chipping already.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased my mixer in February from Create and Barrel. I absolutely love it. I have always used a hand mixer and my beaters flew apart one day so my wife decided that I needed a stand mixer. I did not want to spend the money but I have had no ragrets. Not one! I primarily have used it for cookies, cakes, and mashed potatoes but I have plans to start making some more complex breads. I do wish the additional bowls were a little more affordable because I do have to do a little bowl shuffling but that's ok. I did get the tilt head model over the vertical lift bowl and I am glad for that. I have used the vertical tilt bowl before and I felt that was a bit cumbersome. I am not going to do projects that would necessitate the features that the vertical lift bowl allows for.

Durable Stand Mixer at an Affordable Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this KitchenAid mixer about two months ago and I have no regrets. It has the power to do what I need it to do. The 3 white coated attachments came with it and did a good job. However I decided to order the same type of attachments in stainless steel. Used those for the first time today and again all went well. Highly recommend this mixer.

I use it multiple times a week and I’m very pleased with the performance and larger capacity. I’ve made tons of baked goods using this mixer already, it grates cheese SO quickly with the attachment and makes simplifying a recipe a breeze. I’m so excited to use this for years to come!
