Love It!

Purchased my mixer in February from Create and Barrel. I absolutely love it. I have always used a hand mixer and my beaters flew apart one day so my wife decided that I needed a stand mixer. I did not want to spend the money but I have had no ragrets. Not one! I primarily have used it for cookies, cakes, and mashed potatoes but I have plans to start making some more complex breads. I do wish the additional bowls were a little more affordable because I do have to do a little bowl shuffling but that's ok. I did get the tilt head model over the vertical lift bowl and I am glad for that. I have used the vertical tilt bowl before and I felt that was a bit cumbersome. I am not going to do projects that would necessitate the features that the vertical lift bowl allows for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my stand mixer as a gift, and it works even better than I hoped!! The breads, soft pretzels, rolls, and pretty much everything turns out AMAZING 100% of the time, I would say its the recipe or user, but I know better, also its saving my hands from a good deal of pain now that I dont have to knead!
I would recommend this to a friend!

paint imperfection on new mixer (not refurbished)

The mixer itself is great, love the color BUT there is a small paint imperfection (burr) on the back which you can tell has been touched up. This item was new, NOT refurbished. I am trying not to look at it, but it does bother me. Seems crazy to return it for this but for the price, shouldn't be touched up.

Under whelmed

I love the versatility and functional attachments to use for this product, but the tilt head is constantly having to be readjusted so that it isn't scraping the bottom of the bowl! Also when I am mixing my dough the lock for the tilt head becomes unlocked and instantly flips up. Overall just not impressed with this product.

Poor quality or just poor QC?

I just got this and am so disapointed. The bowl is so cheaply made you can see the screws from the handle poking through, and the coating on the tools came chipping already.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
