I haven't used one of these before and my mom never used one, but when I asked about whether to put one on the wedding registry, everyone recommended doing so. I'm really glad! It's really fun to use and I keep thinking of more ways to use it. It's very easy to clean, too, so cleanup isn't an excuse not to get it out. :) It's great for making large quantities and I really like the large bowl that comes with it. It's very fun and does the best job of mixing/whisking I've seen.
