I bought this a few months ago and finally opened the box after we moved into our new place. It was a wedding present to myself. I am so happy I bought one. I use to make Oreo cheesecake cookies and it was so hard to whip the cream cheese by hand. Well no more old fashion mixing any more! My mixer so all my hard work for me. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to cook and bake!

Great color, lift head, quieter, still has bad blades

Love the crystal blue color. Love that it's quieter than my larger KA. Not happy with the crummy beater blades that chip paint coating into food. KA needs to make plastic ones like the aftermarket ones so users don't have to pay for the mixer and new a new beater too.

Over my adult life I have always insisted on having a really good mixer. When I was 83, I bought the KitchenAid Artisan mixer and found the "Ultimate" mixer! Since then I have purchased six of them as gifts for the girls in my family. At age 87, and still cooking, I know
