Exceptional performance sized for the home kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy & very solidly built. Resists walking, even at high speed and extended duration. Have used the larger bowl-lift model and competitors' commercial-sized models; the Artisan 5 is just sized-down to better accommodate my home kitchen. More than happy with the capacity — even doubling many larger dough or batter recipes is possible if you know what you're doing. Definitely appreciate the speed and power of the motor when mixing stiff/cold doughs, butter, etc. A workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used my new KitchenAid stand mixer once because honestly, I was a little intimidated, but also I was so excited! I perused the literature from the mixer and the attachments first, then I followed the directions for setting everything up. I was pretty comfortable with the setting-up of things and I know it'll become more routine and I won't have to always look at the step-by-step instructions. The capacity size of the bowl was perfect for the scones I was making. I used one of the attachments to shred frozen butter for the scones too! All I want to do is mix things up now! Clean-up was a breeze as well. I'm so happy with this mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is so beautiful and classic looking. I upgraded from my old Faberware stand mixer that I've had for the last 10 years and looks wise - this is such an upgrade. I love the way it looks in my kitchen. However...as a baker I'm quite disappointed. The bowl can not hold much dough, and when I mix for 5+ minutes at time you can hear the engine struggling and it makes a terrible smell. I would say this does a good job if you don't bake too often but as a daily user I'm disappointed. Excited to try other modalities like pasta making etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Kitchenaid Stand mixer I bought 40 years ago. I gave that to my daughter and Granddaughter. I bought my new Kitchenaid stand mixer because I started to make my own foods again. I love your mixers and they are the only ones I will ever buy.
