Love it, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So... I have always dreamed of getting this mixer, and finally it was in my possession. I bake a lot! So I thought it was a savior, not quite. It’s very very heavy, you can only use the bowl which is a bit inconvenient if you need to mix ingredients. You need to buy extra mixing bowls and it has to be kitchen aid because otherwise it won’t fit in the mixer stand. The whisk has to be adjust to make sure it reaches bottom of bowl. For some reason, even thought it comes with the cover to protect from splatter, I still get splatter everywhere, especially when making whipped cream or merengue.
So besides the downs, it’s a beautiful piece, everyone has complented it for its beauty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my mixer as an early Christmas gift in November. I got to spend my holiday season using it through all the cooking and baking that ensues. BEST GIFT EVER. It tackles any job I throw at it with ease. It works for a wide variety of tasks: baking mixes, doughs, mixing dips and even my dreaded cheesy potato casserole (always so cold!). Not only is the mixer a work horse, but it's fully customize-able and looks amazing setting out on my counter top!
