Great for allergies can grind my own wheat bread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grind einkorn berries to make my own sourdough due to gluten allergies and use a meat grinder too ! Absolutely Love my Kitchen aid.Id be lost either way out it!!!

Not like it used to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a KitchenAid stand mixer loyalist. I have had the stand mixers since 1985. This is my 3rd. Both of my previous stands easily lasted 20 years. My second stand still works, but was starting to show signs of possible *end of life*, so we bought the third machine because we were headed into the busy Christmas baking/cooking season. Both earlier machines were absolute work horses. Any attachment or dough or mixture could be on any speed— I did not ever have to consult the chart on (?) page 2 of the booklet. This current version cannot. Example: I have quite a few dough recipes that call for high speed kneading. Two earlier versions had no issues. This current one does- I cannot use a dough hook on higher than speed 2. I also hear a difference in the sound of the motor. It just doesn’t sound as strong as my first two machines did. I hope the company takes a look at earlier designs or previous parts suppliers (to see what has been changed over the years) and go back to how they were made— because there is clearly something different. So, while I will continue to be a brand loyalist, I fear this new (gorgeous) machine will not last like the others.

Game Changer

Very disappointed as it is difficult to handle, very messy even with splash guard. Does not get edges of bowl & you can’t scape with splash guard on. Dough climps up beater to motor. Very difficult to clean. I like my old hand mixer better

Always wanted one

So glad I did. It’s nice having all the speed/power options and being able to let the Kitchen Aid do its thing, leaving my hands free. Also love the attachments.

The breads, soft pretzels, rolls, and pretty much everything turns out AMAZING 100% of the time, I would say its the recipe or user, but I know better, also its saving my hands from a good deal of pain now that I dont have to knead!

The Juniper color goes with my kitchen decor, and I absolutely love it! Multiple speed functions, plenty of torque and multiple attachments make it indispensable in the kitchen. No wonder this is the stand mixer recommended by America’s Test Kitchen!
