What do these three have in common? THEY LAST FOR AGES. In todays "throw it away and buy another one" consumable economy, it is hard to buy something that will last for years to come. I have seen these mixers used for years since I was a little, and they just keep on going. It is the "Energizer Bunny" of kitchen appliances. We got this as a wedding gift this past summer from my mom. She still has hers AND USES IT frequently. SHE HAS 8 children, and she has been using hers since SHE GOT MARRIED over 30 years ago. NOW THAT IS A GOOD PRODUCT! Her grandchildren are able to enjoy it! I look forward to my granchildren enjoying this Kitchen Aid Mixer as well. I look forward to the time when they get married, and I can by them their own Kitchen Aid Mixer. We'll just have to keep the tradition going!

This is the third KitchenAid Stand Mixer I have purchased. The first was around 1992 for my Mother which she used until she wore the mixer blades almost completely down (she bakes a LOT of cakes and cookies). Around 2005 I bought my Mother a new KA Mixer and she gave the first one to her sister. My Aunt ordered all new attachments and is still using the 1992 model. This last purchase was for my husband who loves to cook everything. I know he will enjoy the quality and reliability as much as my Mom and Aunt.

I made a big jump from a hand held mixer to my 5 quart Kitchen Aid. I wish I would have sooner! The quality and durability of this machine is amazing. The only thing I wish I had was a permanent spot for it, it's a bit heavy to always be moving on the countertop.

I was hesitant because it's a pricy investment but soooooooooo worth it. I don't regret purchase it one bit! I love her and I will keep her forever.
