This mixer does it all. The mixer it self does a great job, and as time goes on i will get all the other attachments so i can do all the other things it does. I got the 3 piece pasta roller and cutter first,to make a special Armenian dish like ravioli's, as this mixer and it's attachments makes it so much easier to make.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and it is amazing. It was purchased on the recommendation of a chef I have been taking classes from. The chef uses the same mixer to teach many classes per week and has had no issues.
Mine worked perfectly right out of the box. I love the various heads that come with the mixer, I especially like the one made for dough.
I have to admit, I also like the large choice in colors for the mixer. It tells me KitchenAid realized their product might be sitting out on someone's kitchen counter so needed to look good as well as work good.
I highly recommend this mixer.

I love the ease of use and quick work it makes of recipes that used to take me a while to mix by hand or beaters!
