For my birthday, my grandmother bought me my own stand mixer. She has one, so it is really cool that I have one too. The reason for that being, every Christmas we get together to make tea cakes- which require a strong mixer such as our stand mixer. So, the tradition will continue to live on even when I am a grandmother one day.

Ever since I was a little girl I have been familiar with this mixer. I've spent years in the kitchen with 3 generations of women in my family. Making cookies, breads, mashed potatoes, etc. As I grew older I'd always wanted one to have a permanent spot on my counter as well.
