Bought my KitchenAid mixer a month ago! Should not have waited so long...This mixer could hold 5 lbs of potatoes and not mention double batches of cupcakes
I bought this for my daughter in law for Christmas so it hasnt been used yet. She has wanted one for a long time so I cant wait to see how excited she is going to be. I researched the mixer and alot of the attachments and they seem to be top of the line.
This is my secondary mixer; I bought it for use for non-bread baking. For bread baking, I use my Viking, a heavy duty mixer. For cakes, cookies, etc., this is perfect. It is much lighter but still very sturdy. One reason I wanted it was for the pasta attachment, which is very good. I received a meat grinder with it, which I have no use for. My only quarrel relates to the glass bowl,, which is an important reason why I wanted a second stand mixer: first, I think that the glass bowl should be an option with any color. I had to buy the glass bowl and it's quite expensive. Second, the glass bowl is not indestructible: it exploded when in use, not only in my kitchen, but I saw it do the same thing on the Great British Baking Contest on TV! It is also clumsy to get in and out of the stand. I would recommend this mixer with reservations.
I bought this mixer for my daughter-in-law for her birthday and she just loves this mixer. We have made cakes, breads, cookies. This mixer is so versatile. I never knew all that you could do with one, Now it's my turn to get one!!!!!
I bought my Kitchen Aid three months ago and can't imagine my kitchen without it! I use it almost every day. It's so easy to use. Our whole family Loves it!!!!
