We bought this mixer in October and we are not sure if we like it. We made a batch of cookies and it didn't seem powerful enough to mix it. We also made home made noodles and again it really strained to mix the dough.

I love my KitchenAid mixer. A few years back we gave our daughter a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for Christmas. After using hers, I got rid of my Oster and purchased the KitchenAid. We gave our Daughter-in-law the KitchenAid for Christmas two years ago. I wanted the 5 quart bowl, so I upgraded to the Artisan in October. KitchenAid makes Great products!

Well I've wanted this forever and finally decided to give it to myself for my 50th b-day. I'm still getting use to using it. Not thrilled that the mixer blade with the bowl scraper doesn't come with the mixer out of the box. Finding mixing difficulty when needing to scrape the sides of the bowl. Have to stop mixer, lift it, scrape then resume repeatedly.
It's long-term uses are keeping me positive but not as happy from the get go as I'd hoped.

After burning out the motors on two hand held mixers I asked my friends what mixer I should get. Little did I know that everyone already had a KitchenAid! I got mine a month ago and it has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. It takes all the work out of my Apple Cake. Apparently I will have to find another way to give my arms a work out! Just the best.
