Small card, big performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the 256GB Lexar CFexpress Type A Gold 4.0 card in my Sony A7S III camera for video recording for several weeks now, and it has performed absolutely flawlessly-no glitches. whatsoever, even during long 4K recording sessions. The buffer clears incredibly fast, even in burst mode, so I never miss critical shots of fast-paced action. Transferring files to my laptop now takes half as much time as it used to-it's an absolute lifesaver after long, grueling shoot days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved using the CFexpress type A memory card as a novice photographer. The write speed of 900mb/s is more than anyone will need for their hobbyists needs.
I walk around with a crop body and shoot both video and photos. It’s nice to have a few extra memory card around.

A card that simply lets everything flow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The transfers to the computer are quite fast, and at the end of the day that translates into something very concrete less time waiting and more time editing or delivering content, it’s especially noticeable when you’re downloading heavy videos files or long photo sessions, where other cards tend to become slow or inconsistent
It’s not “just a faster memory card” it’s a piece that completely changes the way the workflow feels. It doesn’t only respond quickly in short bursts, but instead maintains that performance in a stable way, even when pushed with long burst or continuous recording, definitely a key component in my work setup

Great high quality memory card for photographers

I’d definitely recommend this card for seasoned photographers or newbies alike. The quality of the pictures is better than my SD card and I’ll always use these CFExpress Type A Gold cards in the future.
