The Gold Standard for High-Stakes Shooters

This Lexar Professional GOLD CFexpress 4.0 Type A card finally removes that ceiling. It's a specialized piece of kit, but for anyone moving serious amounts of data, it is a game-changer.

Fast and no heat issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My go to brand for memory cards has always been Lexar. They make great cards and they have never failed me. This Type A CFexpress is exactly what I need for my Sony Alpha system. I’ve filled the buffer over and over but never had a bottleneck issue. Shooting in 8k is smooth and never had a card failure. I’ve tried Sandisk and they run hot. Temperature so far hasn’t been a problem with this Lexar even though heat is just a byproduct of the fast write speed. Transferring onto the computer is a breeze with the 4.0 speed. In this current market, you cannot beat the value of Lexar. Be sure you get two cards of the same speed if you use the dual card slots. Any camera will always default to the slower of the two card. I highly recommend!

Great card, so fast, perfect for sports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Lexar CFexpress Type A gold 256gb for a while now it’s been super reliable. I used this card with my Sony A7v. Fast write speeds, no hiccups even when shooting bursts or video. Definitely worth it if you need something you can trust on a shoot. I have not any errors while I work with this card.

Solid performance and speed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a game changer! I have an older Sony a1 that I use at work as the PAO for my company and what an upgrade this is to my previous. The speed is a huge factor but one of the most convenient factors to me was the files transfers for high resolution photos. Something that caught my eye was fast-burst photos came out clear without any blurring in 90% of the photos. You can say goodbye to lagging issues.

Small and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I was unaware that this memory card can only be used on Sony cameras, I have a Nikon so unfortunately I was unable to use this one. Reading the reviews for this product shows that it is lightning quick and has amazing transfer speeds.
I hope to get a Sony in the future for photography and vlogging but its not in the budget right now. 😞
