It handles 4K and even 8K video without any hiccups, which is huge for me since I shoot a lot of content. No dropped frames, no buffering— just smooth, reliable performance every time. Transfer speeds are also super quick, which makes editing and turnaround way easier. It's definitely on the expensive side, but if you're creating a lot of video and need something you can trust, this card delivers.

This Lexar professional Cfexpress Type A 256 GB card looks very well made and feels like a premium professional memory card. The packaging is solid and the listed speeds are impressive - up to 1800 mb/s reed and 1650 mb/s write.
However, I was not able to fully test the card because my camera - Canon EOS 6d mark2 doesn’t support CFexpress Type A cards. This card is made for compatible cameras, such as certain Sony Alpha and Sony FX models, not for standard sd card cameras.
So, I cannot fairly comment on real world speed, video recording performance, or long term reliability.
Based on the specs and build quality it seems like a strong option for photographers who have a compatible CFexpress type A camera. Just make sure, your camera supports CFexpress type A before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're on the fence about moving to CFexpress 4.0, especially for a Sony setup. this Lexar Gold card is the way to go. The real-world performance is impressive, especially when you're pushing the camera to its limits with high-bitrate video or rapid-fire photography. What makes this card so useful is the VPG-400 rating, which basically guarantees you'll never deal with dropped frames or corrupted files during a critical shoot. I also noticed a huge difference in how fast my workspace feels now-transferring 200GB of footage feels almost instant with a proper USB4 reader.It's rugged, stays cool under load, and gives you that peace of mind that your data is safe even in tough conditions. It's definitely a staple in my bag now and has completely removed the memory card bottleneck from my kit.
