We have had trouble getting a set of ear buds that would stay in my wife's ear. We started with Ravine and they would not even after making adjustments. We then tried the Axel GS 3.0, still had trouble with the fit. We are now trying the Walker's. She has used then a few time with the standard mid size cushions. We started to have some fall out problem with the right ear. We have switched to the small cushions and will make another try.
These things are fantastic! Much better than expected, and are actually better than my Walker’s Razors at sound suppression. Add that to the fact that I can shoot rifle with no interference to my cheek weld and I’m a happy camper! Also these things are much better as bluetooth speakers than I was expecting. Not as basey as my Beats, but they’re clear with no distortion at high volume. If you were debating getting a pair, just do it, they’re more than worth the price.
The buds work just fine, but I contacted the company about replacement foam tips. They told me that they don’t have any available. Being a hearing aid user I know they will wear. The buds should not be disposable.
My first ear protection Bluetooth earbuds with sound enhancement was the Isotunes Free Aware. Long story short, those do not cut out loud noises as advertised and are worthless. However, the Walker’s Suppressors arrived after those, and are these are better in every way. The app works, and they cancel out loud noises. The foam ear tips are comfortable. The hinges to the lid of the case are not strong and they may be the first thing to break. But all in all I think i will be very happy with these on construction sites.
I was very hesitant on getting these because of the price point but I must say, I am extremely satisfied with them. Everything from pistol competitions, hunting, PRS matches, all the way to just regular day use for workouts or watching a movie on the plane. They just flat out work. My only gripe is that there isn't a way to disable the enhanced hearing unless you drop them in the case again and pop them back out and just don't touch the side panels. Easy to get good a good fitment and extremely comfortable to wear for prolonged times. I typically run the "Clear Voice" or "Power Boost" settings and can hear everything very clearly, even at distance. I listened to a jake scratching leaves clear as day from about 60 yards away with the "Power Boost" on. The bluetooth audio is very clear, just be sure that your phone or tablet is about 30 feet or closer, otherwise it will start to cut in and out. Highly recommend, the non-bluetooth version works just as well if you do not want or need that feature but it is nice to have the option.
I bought these two months ago. I use them about four times a week. They are extremely comfortable and work very well. The sound quality might be a little distorted with heavy wind but so far not a problem. Easy to connect and the app is user friendly. I'm glad I purchased them. I would buy again and I recommend them to friends.
Work very well at the range. Bluetooth connectivity to my iPhone lets me listen to music while shooting, and the mics let me hear the ambient sounds of the woods while hiking. I'd like to see a noise cancelling mode to disable the mics, this would be perfect for blocking the noisy mower engine while cutting the grass and listening to music over bluetooth.
