Perfect size

Efficient Quiet and Smart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard of the Dreo brand but had not tested out any of their products and I was genuinely blown away by this Portable AC unit! Straight out of the box you get everything you need and more. Multiple configuration for the vent exhaust tube to be positioned properly out the window. A remote control and batteries with every setting available. The AC unit itself which although is heavy it comes with casters that make moving it effortless. The AC was super easy to set up and connect with the Dreo Home App and even easier to get connected to Alexa. Now I can easily have alexa turn it on or off and even check the water level for draining. The AC comes with an extension hose for easy draining although it isn’t needed but nice to have included. It runs super cold yet is super quiet and cools down a room quickly thanks to the multiple modes and fan settings.
Overall this is a 10/10 no complaints!

Amazing amazing amazing !!!

The app is super easy to use nothing too complicated and the size and build is perfect. I can tell it’s going to be very durable and last me many summers!!!

Great portable yet powerful AC!

We recently added an extension to our house which gets hot when it’s above 70 degrees outside inside can be well over 90. The room is about 500 sq feet and I had been debating if I should get a portable ac or one of those ugly window ones. I am so glad I got DREO portable AC. I had an exhaust vent already installed so was able to connect the vent pipe directly to the exhaust without having to use the window attachments. So it was super simple set up. I turned on the AC and felt the nice cool air instantly and within 2 hours the large room was extremely cool and pleasant. I am so glad I went with this set up instead of the ugly window ones. The AC is powerful and the vent oscillates which is an added bonus and the unit is quiet. Comes with a nice remote and get this the best part the AC unit has a magnetic remote holder—no more losing the remote!!! I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a portable AC as permanent use or even something to keep for emergency use when main AC stops working during the hottest day of the year!

Fast cooling, advanced technology!!

This air conditioner is QUALITY!! Opening the box, from the first moment I felt the components I knew this would be another DREO product that would PERFORM & LAST.
I plugged this in, doing a basic setup, and was blown away with the display system on this device. It was informative and easily digestible. You are able to operate device through that display or a remote, which also seems quite above par for an appliance remote. Good iconography, button size, and quality plastic/rubber (buttons). The remote was also magnetic, a nice added touch in quality.
The fan/AC was powerful, instantly chilling the surrounding area. There is a wide range of cool features here… 3 modes (dehumidifier!), timer, phone connectivity, oscillation… etc.
Two features I love, that aren’t groundbreaking but do show a level of quality are:
1) the ability to remove Light/Sound from the display - so crucial. I have had so many devices that lack one/both of these rendering it either annoying, or impossible to use in a bedroom.
2) A Memory function - this is nice! No need to manually reprogram the device each time. If you have specific settings you enjoy, they’ll instantly be applied each time you turn the device on!
This comes with so many physical features too that just make it feel like the designer cares for the user, to ensure bad experiences are less likely to occur! The different panels for the exhaust tube to fit to, the foam included for sealing that panel, a drainage tube; all feel great and quality. I haven’t yet installed a panel yet, but they include 3 pieces to ensure it fits in the multiple window configurations.
Overall I have been VERY impressed by DREO’s products, and this continues that trend as this blows away all expectations (that were high to begin with!!). If you are needing a portable A/C, this one is VALUE while still brimming with absolute quality!!

While I have central AC in my house, there is a rear corner bedroom that for some reason stays warmer in the summer so I’ve been looking to add an AC unit for that room only.
This portable unit is perfect. Obviously it’s a heavier machine but it sits on wheels and once in the room it doesn’t have to be lifted into the window like other AC units. It simply runs a hose to the window to vent the air. It is quiet enough to not disturb sleep but also my son generally uses a “white noise” machine anyway so this just seems to blend in with that noise.
The machine is able to run a fan only, dehumidifier, or air conditioning. It has the ability to link to the DREO app to be controlled through a phone but we don’t need that for our purposes. It also comes with a remote control that works flawlessly from within the room.
Maintaining the unit it simple. The filter is water washable. There is a drain plug and included hose to drain any built up water and the machine will let you know when it needs to be emptied. The machine did not require any tools to assemble/ install and included everything needed to function.

DREO - Best of the Best Portable AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My god - this DREO 12,000 BTU Smart Portable AC Unit is a BLESSING! I received this portable AC unit right when I needed it. It works perfectly for me at home - while I’m sleeping in my bedroom, where I like it nice and cold; and also in my garage, when I’m hard at work tinkering with my cars and need a strong, cool breeze to keep me cool. The fan blows surprisingly strong - I can feel the air from across the room, at least 10 meters away. As a matter of fact, this AC unit works better than any portable or window AC unit I’ve ever used. It seems like this unit could climate control an entire castle! Not only does it serve me well at home, but it also serves me fantastically at work. Our air conditioner recently went out at my office, which is a huge issue, because I work in a medical office. Our allergist was BEGGING for me to find a solution, because she said her patients were getting too hot during allergy testing. VOILA! The DREO was and still is the perfect solution. Absolutely zero complaints from our patients after I brought it to the office. I have recommended this DREO AC unit to both friends and family since. Not only is it saving me at home, but it is also saving our patients in the office! I love it! Thank you DREO!
