Defend camera, solar panel, and lithium battery

Camera has worked great. Purchased the solar panel and lithium battery with it. Put it on a tree looking at the gate on my driveway. I have had it going for 2 months and have had no issues

Our Defend camera is 1500 miles away and not sure what went wrong but it’s not working.

Hello Shantel, I checked your account, it looks like the camera batteries died and either the solar panel isn't receiving enough sunlight or became disconnected. If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know!

The Defend and Reveal Solar Panel's are terrible. I have wasted my money on all 4 of them. I would never have bought them if I had known they had to have 8-12 hours of Direct Sunlight. In fact I don't have all of them installed. Because they didn't charge. Also it gives you false reading on my phone app. I have called about my Reveal Camera's so many times and got different people and different answers to my questions. I don't even call about them either. I just take everything like a grain of salt. By the way they were and are still under my 1 year warranty. My Camera's and solar panels.

Startup instructions NOT good. Camera is GOOD

I just booted my camera this weekend. The information / instructions are really bad but thankfully I am a technical person and got it all up and running. The bad part now is that I bought the rechargeable batteries for the camera and I bought the solar panel thinking I only needed to charge the camera batteries prior to boot up I now have the solar not charging its own battery. Again the instructions are really not good. The solar panel BOX should have verbiage saying OPEN and charge internal battery required before use! I had no idea there was a battery included as part of the solar panel. That said… the camera so far seems to be pretty good!
