Easy first step. Will have to wait and see how things go after that.

The plastic barrier that fits in the window is a bit flimsy but the unit cools beautifully.

Compresser rattled
on May 17, 2026

Unit was delivered about a week ago. Used it once and it worked great. Now when I turn it on, it works good, but there is an intermittent grinding noise coming from the motor. The compressor wakes the noise when it starts, goes away, and returns intermittently while it's running.
