We have been on a sugar free diet for some time and found a recipe for sugar free ice cream to satisfy our sweet tooth. After digging out the old bucket style ice cream maker, we were soon reminded why we tossed in the attic so many years ago. What a total pain it was to use, and the ice cream (or ice soup, in most cases) was terrible. After searching for alternatives, we chose the Cuisinart ICE-21 ice cream maker. What an amazing appliance! It literally takes less that 20 minutes to make a delicious batch of creamy, smooth ice cream. It is so simple to use. No fussing with crushed ice and rock salt. No leaky bucket. No deafening grinding for two hours. With the Cuisinart, when you're ready to make ice cream, remove the container from the freezer, put it on the ice cream maker, turn it on, add the ice cream mixture, wait 15 minutes, then enjoy fresh homemade ice cream. So easy!

We bought this to make fresh peach ice cream (from the peaches we grow) and love the product! Not only does it make DELICIOUS ice cream, it's easy to use, easy to clean and the recipes are easy to follow. We have experimented with various flavors and they're all our favorite!
I highly recommend this product for homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet! YUM!

This has turned out to be perfect for the two of us. I always keep heavy cream on hand and in just 20 minutes can have vanilla, chocolate, banana (that are getting soft) ice cream. I plan to order an extra freezer tub in case we need more than 5 cups or want to make two flavors. It is so easy to make and clean up.

Bought a different ice cream maker and returned once I read directions! Would take almost a half day to yiel ice cream - not acceptable with 2 young grandchildren.
Did more research and found the Cuisinart- love it. And the girls love what it produces.
It didn't hurt that this ice cream maker got good reviews blimey as well!
