We bought this for a Father’s Day present and it was a win for the whole family. We use it about twice a week. It’s so easy to use, easy to clean and most importantly, makes delicious ice cream! We have only used the recipe for the simple vanilla but okay with adding different ingredients/toppings. The ice cream has more of a consistency of soft serve, but it does firm up if put back in the freezer (at least our left overs did).

I have had the ice cream freezer about 6 weeks and love it. We have made about six batches and have prefected our recipe. One can evaporated milk, 12 ounces half & half, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 2 raw eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, mix well with hand mixer and chill until ready to use. The ice cream will be soft, light and fluffy. Great!

We love the ice cream this little gem makes for us. I have played with recipes and have found I can make delicious ice cream with reduced sugar and fat, and no preservatives. Excellent.

I started the Keto diet and wanted to make home made ice cream. The ice cream maker us so easy to use. No rock salt or ice needed. Even my teenager can make her own ice cream.

So far I am well pleased with this ice cream maker. I quickly learned that you must freeze the bowl over night, and that the mixture should also set in the refrigerator overnight and be very, very cold before starting. Then the ice cream freezes in about 20 minutes as claimed. I am still experimenting to determine my favorite recipe for vanilla. I have done mixes with cream and milk, with sweetened condensed milk and milk, and with coconut milk and milk. I've tried adding pasteurized eggs to the mix and blending for added creaminess. A tablespoon of cornstarch can also help with creaminess. Less fat makes the results more like gelato, my favorite. Next I will try adding yolks only because the egg whites are mainly water and make it slightly icy. The machine claims 1.5 qt capacity, but by the time I remove the blades and account for tasting and cleaning, I can only pack about a quart for hardening. I have not tried any custard mixes because they are too much trouble. My only disappointment thus far is the number of recipes in the user's guide.
