My daughter gave us the ice cream maker. It is great. We have lots of fun watching the ingredients turn into ice cream. It makes more ice cream than it seems like it would. The freezer container does take a bit of room in the freezer but that is a small price to pay for delicious homemade ice cream.

Bought this to try some unusual recipes with less sugar and lime flavoring. Can't find a recipe that really works. This machine doesn't get the mix really cold and small quantities don't dash well. If you stick to the standard recipes, the ice cream cones out ok.

There is literally not a day that goes by when I do not have homemade ice cream in my house. Unlike my old kitchenaid ice cream maker, the cuisinart bowl doesn’t take up an entire shelf in my freezer. plus, the pistachio color is a beautiful complement to my jadeite kitchen.
