This made delicious ice cream in just a few minutes. I loved that the ice cream was simply made without any of the gums and fillers you would typically find in store bought ice cream. You can control the ingredients and the fat content, and we used almost all heavy whipping cream, so it was quite yummy. Fast, easy, simple and delicious! We received this as a gift and highly recommend.

If you like soft serve cream you’ll like it. I was disappointed in the texture, but I realize you can use different ingredients- I just decided I ultimately would rather hard a more solid ice cream product and returned the maker.

Just just it. Pieces are all miss sized. Won't fit together at all. Completely unusable.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Automatic Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt & Sorbet Maker, and we’re sorry to hear the unit was unusable. If components are not fitting together, we recommend verifying all parts are aligned correctly and that the freezing bowl is fully seated, as temperature changes or packaging shifts can sometimes affect fit; our Consumer Assistance Center can help assess this further. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the "ice cream maker" thinking I would pour the ingredients into the mixer and it would mix and freeze; however, you DON'T! Premix all ingredients first, making sure the paddles are going when pouring the ingredients in, as they will freeze to the bottom if you don't turn the paddle on first. (Since you pre-mix the ingredients, you can freeze that and have ice cream instead.) It was supposed to come with a recipe booklet, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

To date, I have been unable to make anything in this product without ice crystals forming. Everything I've made tastes as miserable as ice milk that has thawed and been refrozen.

Its basically a worthless piece of equipment which will be stored next to the wok we never use, right next to the bread maker we never use. Go out and buy ice cream from a supermarket. Its cheaper and more convenient. This is a hassle to make ice cream and expensive.

I have been very disappointed in this appliance. While easy to use, it does not work well to make low fat ice cream. I've tried multiple batches using several recipes but consistently end up with a thick layer of ice around the canister and a small amount of very soft ice cream in the middle. Perhaps is better with a full fat recipe.
