Not too impressed. The ice cream maker could not even contain my full receipt. I had to mix it in a separate bowl, then pour 1/2 of it in the ice cream mixer. After 20 mins., it really wasn't much different than then when I first put it in, still very thin and not frozen @ all. I poured the liquid into a container and put it in my freezer and it froze, somewhat. Very soft ice cream. I could have make this without the ice cream maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Cuisinart Ice cream maker. The recipes it comes with in the booklet are very good. I bought an additional freezer bowl and that was a good purchase as well.

We have made several batches of ice cream so far. All of them have turned out excellent, with flavor and texture both being great. We have used the recipes from the booklet that came with the machine. I highly recommend this countertop ice cream maker for the price, and quality of ice cream. I can't speak to longevity yet, but expect good things based on friends that have the same machine.
