I couldn't have given a better Christmas gift to my husband, a life-long ice cream devotee. This one is easy to use, a snap to clean, and does a great job. I could only have wished that it had a larger capacity, but I guess it's a good thing it doesn't!

This ice cream maker is my newest toy. I and my husband have a lot of fun with it! We made strawberry sorbet, rum raisin ice cream (twice!), taro ice cream, and are going to make peach frozen yogurt, plum wine sorbet and Irish coffee ice cream next... You can tell some of those are not in the recipe book attached to the machine - it's so easy to use, we followed the attached recipe once and understand how it works, and found a lot of other recipes online. This machine makes soft ice cream, If you don't like the texture, simply put the ice in freezer for few hours (unless there is egg yolk in recipe). After you have home made ice cream, who wants to eat ice cream from store?

I have always wanted to make home made ice cream. I reviewed maker and had it on my wish list for months and bought it on Christmas day. This is my 4th batch. Two pineapple and two mango. It is so good and easy to make. I sharing my experience and love with anyone who loves ice cream as I do. Can't wait to make a surprise batch of my dad's favorite, Run & Raisin. O know he'll be floored. Thank you cuisinart for the design and features that I don't have to find rock salt and ice.

I received this ice cream freezer as a Christmas present . I was disappointed that the ice cream did not freeze harder than it did . It was in the mixer for 20 minutes but remained soupy . The tub was in the freezer for 2 weeks so that wasn't the problem . I would've also liked to have had a larger tub . This is a little smaller than I would like .

The Ice Cream machine with the freezer bowl works way better than I expected. The first time I tried just plain vanilla and with the freezer bowl completely frozen I turned the machine on it says about 10-15 minutes for the ice cream to freeze but mine was soft serve consistency just after 7 minutes the thing I like the best is that I know exactly what is going into the ice cream or sorbet it is important thought that you freeze the freezer bowl so when you shake it you don't here liquid for the best results my freezer bowl lives in my freezer so it's always ready although I do leave it out awhile because other wise I would be making Ice cream all the time.

We have used this Cuisinart Ice Cream maker a half dozen times since receiving it has a gift about a month ago. We have made both Keto and traditional ice cream in it and both have been delicious!
