Made the first batch today...it takes a bit of planning (freeze bowl and chill mixed ingredients). After the pre-chilling, the ice cream was ready to move to the freezer in 15 minutes...pretty sweet. I'm not a big fan of the recipe provided so I'll continue to work on that (mouth feel was a bit oily). It is a bit noisy but something we'll put up with for ice cream.

We've only used this once so far, but it worked well. We followed the "Simple Chocolate Ice Cream" recipe from the manual and the results were quite good. Our grandchildren enjoyed it too. The process is a bit fiddly and there's a LOT of advance planning needed, which is why I only gave 4 stars. Still, I'm satisfied overall.
