First time I used the machine everything went perfect. I used the chocolate ice cream recipe included with the machine, and it turned out perfect. It was so so so good. Now I’m a health enthusiast so this is something my kid wanted for a Christmas present. I’m always trying to make meals more healthy so I just replaced the cup of sugar with granulated stevia, and it came out just as creamy, and the same as any other ice cream. 10/10 recommended.

LOVE the finished product. But following directions to the letter resulted in the ice cream not moving after 6 minutes, so I needed to use a small spatula to get the process to continue for another minute in order to produce the desired consistency (soft-serve). I've made 6 different recipes from the booklet and this continues to be the case. If you don't remove the ice cream from the frozen bowl really fast, some will remain behind...rock hard and stuck to the metal wall of the bowl.

I've made two batches so far. Overall it seems pretty great--it doesn't take long to freeze with the pre-frozen bowl. My main criticism is that the churning blade feels a bit flimsy, and it is kind of awkward to scrape the ice cream off (especially quickly so it doesn't melt). But, aside from that, it seems to work well and we are looking forward to lots of delicious ice cream without weird additives.
