I HAVE FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS & IT DOES NOT MAKE THE ICE CREAM. I PUT THE PART IN THE FREEZER TO GET IT COLD AND IT JUST DOES NOTHING, I END UP PUTTING THE MIXTURE IN A BOWL AND FREEZING IT!

So glad our son talked us into purchasing this Ice Cream maker!! We are 'avid' homemade Ice Cream makers!! We've had recipes handed down from a couple generations and LOVE making and serving it. When our son told us about THIS maker, we were skeptical but intrigued! Can't believe it is so much easier to use than our 'tried and true' vintage maker. And the nice thing is, we don't need salt or ice....AND can make ice cream ON OUR KITCHEN COUNTER!! WOW...and it's SO DELICIOUS!!! AND, we don't have to wait for good weather!! Who knew??

Easy, healthier, frozen desserts. A few more batches of Dole Whip and it will have paid for itself! When you can't eat dairy and stay away from gluten your choices are limited and expensive at the store. This is the best alternative, it doesn't take long to make something and cleanup is quick. Experimenting is a lot of fun. It is a bit loud while operating but worth it.

I thoroughly enjoy having my 3 precious grandchildren come to my home to visit. I plan fun things for us to do-- so I decided to order an ice cream maker. Well, you should have seen the smiles on my grandchildrens faces as we mixed the ingredients for strawberry ice cream... however the smiles as they tasted the ice cream were the biggest I've ever seen !! Thank you very much for helping us make some wonderful memories..

This unit truly makes ice cream, not soft serve. I’ve tried a few makers before I settled on this one and glad I bought it! You must make sure not to over fill the bowl, I limit my mixture to 3 or 3 1/2 cups so when it aerates it doesn’t overflow the 1.5 quart bowl. Batches are done in 15 minutes or more with alcohol added. You’ll know it’s done when the paddle can’t make a rotation.
