Very much worth the money. So easy to prepare and make (15-20 minutes to make). No more ice and salt! I just need to get a 2nd freezer bowl so I can make batches back to back, 4-5 cups is not nearly enough!

Received this ice cream maker as a gift and its awesome! You put the bowl into the freezer---overnight is best to let it freeze. When its frozen, you then you mix the ingredients pertaining to the recipe of the flavor you want to make, and let it get colder in the fridge for about 2 hours. You then pour that mixture into the frozen bowl which is already on the base and the machine is on. Let it churn for about 20ish minutes, and viola! you have ice cream! The finished ice cream is a bit soft, so i place it in an airtight container and put in freezer for about 1-2 hrs to harden. I will never buy ice cream from a store again, ever!

Have been stalling about getting a dedicated ice cream maker for years, limping along with my stand mixer attachment with dubious results, and an awful mess! It is so hot this summer I took the plunge and after researching chose this Cuisinard. Heaven...Im in Heaven. Amazingly simple to use, makes perfect ice cream, and breezy clean up. Ive just used the inluded recipes, and adapted variations. Eating way too much delicious ice cream because of this perfect little machine!

Very pleased with the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker. Have made 3 batches (Stracciatella, Almond Joy, Cookies and Cream) of Ice Cream and the results have been great. You must use Whole Milk and Heavy Cream to get creamy ice cream. The machine is very easy to use. Highly recommend.
