This is a great ice cream maker. It is very easy to use, in fact, my kids can even make their own ice cream. I like the smallish size of the bowl because I can keep it in the freezer at all times without using inordinate amounts of space. The only reason it does not get a perfect rating is because of the sound, it is loud. However, to be honest it is done in 20min so that's a nice perk.

This is a great machine. The first time I used it, I made fresh strawberry. Absolutely delicious - the local grocer had the most amazing gigantic berries. We chopped them up and made a wonderful treat. The only thing we didn't do was to keep an eye on what was going on as the machine approached the end of the cycle. It was a little messy at the end but that was my fault, not Cuisinart's. After that, not any issues, just great, fresh ice cream!
